Thank you Jeff. I used up the dried up, muddy sky colors from my mixing palette for the background. For the foreground, I alternated between Transparent Mars Brown (PR101) and indigo.

Very effective winter scene. The stark black trees add to the cold feeling but there is also a sensitive use of subtle color.
