Thank you, Jeff. I’m glad you like the composition. The trees just “fell into place”. I painted this scene once before but overworked it and produced a lot of muddy colors. So I flipped over the paper and started again. This time I placed the colors directly onto the surface without mixing. I must say, I like this approach.
